Three Federal Ministers on the Stages!

We are proud to have three members of the federal government live on stage at the and the Big-Data.AI Summit 2019. Katharina Barley, Federal Minister of Justice and Consumer Protection, enters the Red Arena for an intimate Fireside Chat in the afternoon of the 10. April. Afterwards the Federal Minister for Education and Research, Anja Karliczek, closes day one of with a closing keynote at the Black Arena. Finally Peter Altmaier, Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Energy, will opens the Red Arena with a welcome speech on April 11. Both stages gather visionaries of smart technologies for a modern society and competitive key industries.

The digital transformation creates new innovations like AI technologies. “Artificial Intelligence will be a key technology for the overall economy. It will put the total value chain on a new footing, not only the industry, but also craft, retail, services and even agriculture”, says Peter Altmaier. The Federal Government has adopted an Artificial Intelligence strategy which was proposed by the federal ministers Peter Altmaier, Anja Karliczek and Hubertus Heil. The main goal is to make Germany a leading industry for the development, application and commercialisation of AI technologies. But it is also crucial to integrate Artificial Intelligence into businesses and society by strengthening research and education. “AI is made by people for people”, says Anja Karliczek.

In the past, we had the pleasure to welcome various renowned policy makers like today’s Federal Minister for Health, Nicola Beer, leading candidate for the European elections 2019, Karl-Theodor zu Guttenberg, former Federal Minister for Defence, Philipp Rösler, former Vice Chancellor and Peter Eriksson, former Swedish Minister for International Development Cooperation.
