Operationalization of Business Analyses and Architecture Patterns using a Knowledge Graph

Joan Clarke Stage
Stage BAS
Big Data enables companies to develop algorithms enabling them to predict customer behavior. These algorithms are based on available data within business units and lead to a cascading set of challenges: 1. New data sources are necessary to implement the predictive analyses. 2. New technologies are required to process the new data sources. 3. Additional skills for development and operation of the systems are required for these new technologies. 4. In the context of analysis projects, individual IT infrastructures are built to create the ability to implement. Deploying new technologies into already established production environments often leads to compatibility issues between the deployed new system and the environment. 5. Often it is not possible to reuse analyses in other areas of the company due to lacking required input parameters and missing knowledge of the best processing infrastructure. The solution of these problems - an easy to use knowledge graph - will be presented in this talk
