Dr Anna Lukasson-Herzig
Anna is the founder and CEO of nyris, a visual search engine, that enables companies to process large amounts of visual data superfast.
The young tech venture has received several awards, works for a large number of German DAX companies and is one of the first German start-ups in the Google startup program, as well as part of the Microsoft ScaleUp program. Anna studied Engineering at the RWTH Aachen, graduated with honors as best by year. Her first career step was inside the steel industry, where she developed a feed forward control system to optimize the geometry of steel slabs. She then moved to the Boston Consulting Group, where she worked for more than 9 years, serving industry clients from all over the world in mainly strategic matters. She left BCG as principal in 2014 and started to work on nyris. Anna is married and mother of 2 irresistible fabulous boys.
